A New Chapter: From Pages Flipper to Life and Other Things
After almost 14 years of blogging as Pages Flipper, I’ve decided it’s time to turn the page.
When I started this blog, I was simply looking for a space to write. I didn’t have a long-term plan, a defined niche, or even a clear vision—just a love for stories and a need to put them somewhere. Over time, this space grew with me. What began as a personal blog evolved into a platform where I could document moments, support local creatives, collaborate with brands, and reflect on everything in between.
But growth also comes with clarity. And lately, I’ve felt the need for a shift.
Why the Change?
Pages Flipper served me well. It was a title rooted in storytelling, in turning pages—literally and metaphorically. But as the blog expanded beyond those beginnings, the name started to feel limiting. It no longer captured the full picture of what I do and what this space has become.
This blog is no longer just a collection of thoughts—it’s a portfolio of experiences. It’s a mix of travel, events, campaigns, reflections, and features. Some entries are deeply personal. Others are part of collaborations and community work. Many sit somewhere in between.
So I’ve decided to rename it:
Life and Other Things
A simple phrase that gives space for everything I want to write about—without boxing myself in.
What Stays the Same?
The voice. The intention. The honesty.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, nothing drastic is changing. You’ll still find the same grounded tone, the same mix of content, and the same perspective that’s always shaped these posts. I’ll continue writing about the things that interest me, move me, and matter in my world—whether it’s a new local spot, a community story, a campaign I believe in, or just something worth pausing for.
What’s Ahead?
With Life and Other Things, I’m giving myself permission to stretch. To write more freely, to explore new topics, and to keep this space aligned with where I am now—personally and professionally.
This rebrand also comes at a special time: it marks my 10th year here in Davao. A decade of living, working, and growing in a city that’s shaped so much of who I am and how I write. It feels right to mark that with a shift—not just in name, but in intention.
So whether you’ve been here since the Pages Flipper days or just stumbled onto this blog, thank you. Thank you for reading, for coming back, for trusting my words.
Let’s keep the stories going.
